The Pacific Inter-link (PIL) Team came together for cleaning the Morib Beach on 25th Feb 2023 under its ‘We Care for the Beach’ program.
As part of its CSR and Sustainability activity commitments, a 33 member team of PIL employees took part in cleaning the Morib Beach on 25th Feb 2023. The entire team left from the PIL Office in the morning and reached Morib Beach around 9.30 am. After setting up the beach camp, three teams were formed. All the teams were briefed and necessary equipment handed over. Each team took one section of the beach and started the cleaning work. After the cleaning session of around two hours, each team managed to gather lots of garbage including plastic bottles, tin cans and other non-perishable items.
After the cleaning session, the PIL Team members participated in beach games that help them gain understanding about various materials and activities that cause pollution to environment and natural elements like sea, rivers, air etc. At the end of the beach cleaning activity, appreciation certificates issued by the Majlis Perbandaran Kuala Langat were given to each member. The day ended with a team lunch.
