PIL Group is committed to sustainability as it is an ongoing journey. It is essential for the long term success of the company. We continuously integrate and implement sustainability across our operations. As part of this commitment, we conducted a Sustainability Awareness Workshop at out Malaysia and Indonesia operations.
The workshop in Malaysia began in February 2023 and concluded in June 2023, with active participation form all departments.On the other hand, the workshop in Indonesia was held from 21-22 August 2023, and attended by representatives from our esteemed sister refineries: PT. Pacific Indopalm Industries, PT. Pacific Palmindo Industri, PT. Pacific Medan Industri and PT. Oleochemical & Soap Industri.
The workshop aims to raise awareness on the importance of sustainability for an ethical supply chain. It is vital for PIL Group Employees to be aware of the company’s sustainability goals and how they can contribute to achieve them. We will continue to foster culture of sustainability and explore new opportunities to make a positive impact on the environment and communities.
