Pacific Inter-Link (PIL) was incorporated in 1988 in Kuala Lumpur to promote the export of various commodities and services from Asia to the global markets. Envisioning the potential of Asia as an economic powerhouse, PIL rapidly grew to become one of the leading export houses in Malaysia.

The PIL group is actively engaged in a diverse range of activities such as manufacturing, refining, trading, tank terminal, marketing of consumer Products and shipping services. Being a focused, well-directed and far-sighted organization, the PIL group strongly believes in long-term strategic planning, while at the same time ensuring flexibility to serve customer needs. Since our inception in Malaysia in 1988 with a small office of 10 people, PIL has grown to become a highly professional, dynamic and diversified organization employing around 4000 people with interest in manufacturing, trading, tank terminals, marketing of consumer products & shipping services in Malaysia and Indonesia.

The sound business principles we emphasize on and the management values we uphold are parallel to that of our parent group, the Hayel Saeed Anam Group of companies. We practice and advocate a profound corporate philosophy that is focused on creating a truly dynamic global enterprise based on reputation, integrity and mutual prosperity.

Key Management Profile

Sriram Iyer joined PIL in October 2019 responsible for business operations, support functions and certain lines of business. Sriram has 20 years of experience in internal audits, risk management, ERM, compliance and controllership. Varied industry experience involving manufacturing, technology, trading & retail, oil, metals and FMCG. Before PIL, Sriram was Director, Internal Audit with Vmware Inc in Singapore and have worked with NCR Corporation, Ernst & Young and KPMG.

Sriram is a Chartered Accountant from India and also holds professional degrees in Information Security & Business Finance.

Milind Jadhav has been working with PIL Group for past 18 years. Currently, he is CFO for the Region & Director. His career spans over 40 years in Finance, Controllership, ERP, General Management, Project Management. He is exposed to various industries like Trading, Shipping, Engineering, Textiles, & ERP solutions.

Milind has graduated in Engineering & is a member of ICMA. He is also a qualified SAP consultant.

Nakul Rastogi has been working with PIL group for more than 20 years heading its Palm Oil department. He has been involved with Edible oil trade for last 36 years and has varied experience in trading Soyoil, Mustard/rapeseed oil, Sunflower and Palm oil. He also has experience in managing Solvent extraction plants, expanders, refineries and mills in Edible Oil sector. He is a renowned industry expert and has presented papers in major oil conferences. He is a panel Arbitrator in Palm Oil Refiners Association of Malaysia.

Nakul is a management postgraduate from BITS Pilani and has served in big Indian business houses such as Britannia and ITC before joining PIL group in 1997.

Sreenivasa, prior to joining PIL Group served CMA CGM Shared Service Centre (India) Pvt Ltd as Senior Director of Human Resources. Bringing with him 24 years’ experience in managing Human Resources transformation. He held numerous senior management position in various industries such as Manufacturing, Financial Services, Information Technology and Palm Oil Trading.

Sreenivasa is a Law graduate with MBA and certified in Neuro-Linguistic Programming, Talent & Competency Professional (CTCP), Strategic HR Transformation & Organizational Development. He was awarded with 50 Most Influential HR TECH LEADER AWARD in Asia Pacific HR Congress and MALAYSIA’S MOST Talented HR Leader’s Award.

Wassim Ahmed joined PIL in 2015 with qualified business professional of 15 years of distinguished performance in oil & fats looking for export sales and Product Development for retail and industrial products. Start building a strong sales team with ability to attract and secure key players and lasting business relationship, putting clear strategy and development of our packed oil & fats products to much customer requirement in terms of quality and price. He put clear sales perspective by expanding and diversifying our business geographically.

Wassim holds master’s degree in economics from University of Tunisia, with additional training programs in Export & Logistic.

Arup joined PIL in July 2010 and is Heading the Marketing function for the PIL Group. Arup has more than 25 years of experience in Marketing, Operations and P&L management backed up by excellent exposure in sales, manufacturing and supply chain.

Arup is a specialist in FMCG and Retail industry with wide experience in categories like soap, detergent, dairy, food, beverages and readymade apparels. Before PIL, Arup worked with global leaders like Diageo, Pidilite Industries, Raymond and Dabur in India.

Arup is a management graduate from India with additional training in new product planning and introduction, brand and category management.

Code of Conduct

Ultimately, it's about each of us knowing that we have done the right thing. This means acting honestly and treating each other and our customers, partners, suppliers and consumers fairly, and with dignity.

Integrity is fundamental to the Group. We all want to do what is right, for ourselves and for the Group. PIL Group corporate reputation is one of our group's most valuable asset and a key component in service delivery. Impartiality, independence and integrity are therefore the cornerstones of our Code of Ethics.

All these values are shared and endorsed by our team, so reinforcing our group's unity and cohesion, which will in turn help us achieve our strategy of sustainable and profitable growth.

The launch of our Code of Conduct & Business Ethics is supported by an extensive implementation programme to ensure that all employees have read and understood it; that senior & top management are familiar with the internal policies and procedures of the Code's and that PIL Group has implemented and is able to demonstrate that it has, an effective Compliance Programme.

In 2014, PIL established an internal Whistleblowing Policy for our employees and stakeholders. The procedure is a formal mechanism for stakeholders to report alleged improper or unlawful conduct without fear of retribution. Whistle-blowers can remain anonymous unless disclosure is mandated by law.
